This role is suited to Chief Engineers looking to transition ashore and apply their sea-going experience across machinery reliability, drydock preparation, technical troubleshooting, and operational support.
You will oversee the technical performance of assigned tanker vessels, working closely with shipboard teams, vendors, and internal stakeholders to maintain safe, reliable, and cost-efficient operations.
Key Requirements
- Minimum 12 months' sailing experience in Chief Engineer rank on tanker vessels (oil, product, chemical or gas)
- Strong understanding of machinery maintenance, drydock preparation, and engine room reliability
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills within technically demanding vessel operations
- Experience with ME engines and/or dual-fuel propulsion systems advantageous
- Stable career history within technically managed fleets
