Job Description

A well-established shipping organisation is growing its Busan office and looking for a Technical Superintendent to take ownership of a dry bulk fleet segment. You'll be the technical backbone for your vessels — the person owners and crew alike turn to when something needs fixing, planning, or explaining.

What you'll own:
  • The technical and operational health of your allocated dry bulk tonnage, day to day
  • Dry-docking and repair planning, from scope to sign-off
  • Certification and compliance across the fleet, staying ahead of surveys and audits
  • Budget control and spend decisions for your vessels
  • Manning levels and crew support on technical matters
  • A visible safety and environmental standard onboard, not just a written one
Requiorements
  • A Chief Engineer's licence with at least 2 years in rank, and/ or prior relevant experience as a Technical Superintendent with dry bulk vessels.
  • Solid, practical knowledge of dry bulk tonnage
  • Confidence managing budgets and owner relationships
  • Clear, fluent English/Korean language capability to manage Korean/English speaking stakeholders
  • This position is only open to Korean nationals.
