Are you a Technical Superintendent with strong dry bulk vessel experience looking to join a well-established international ship management platform?
Faststream is partnering with a maritime organisation (owner's representative) with the search for a Technical Superintendent to oversee the safe, efficient and cost-effective technical management of assigned bulk vessels.
Location: Singapore
Key responsibilities:
• Managing the day-to-day technical operation of assigned vessels
• Overseeing dry dockings, repairs, maintenance and technical inspections
• Monitoring vessel performance, compliance and certification status
• Managing technical budgets, purchasing and spare parts planning
• Supporting audits, inspections and owner requirements
• Working closely with onboard teams to drive operational excellence and reliability
Requirements:
• Chief Engineer background and/or relevant Marine Engineering qualification
• Experience managing dry bulk vessels
• Prior shore-based Technical Superintendent experience preferred
• Strong knowledge of vessel maintenance, dry docking and Class/Flag requirements
• Good communication and stakeholder management skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced international environment
