In this role, you will be in volved in a diverse range of bespoke projects such as fuel consumption or vessel behavior patterns. You will support the department with organising the management system, record keeping and meeting with key suppliers to review latest products. You will closely support the Managing Director, Special Projects Director and others with business development activities, as well as supporting with client and supplier management, amongst various other duties. This role will require some travel and some out of hour work.
The ideal candidate will have:-
- Degree level education in Engineering or in Naval Architecture (other relevant degrees will be considered)
- OR marine engineering background at sea with a minimum OOW Engine Unlimited certificate of competency
- Evidence of managing project tasks such as planning, researching, delivering and recording results
- Strong communications skills to be able to communicate with personnel of all levels bother internally and externally
- Passion and enthusiasm to work in the offshore wind and shipping sector
