Faststream are currently seeking experienced Subsea Engineers for two upcoming projects on specialized cable-laying vessels. These are 8-week contracts starting in late May 2026.

Role 1: Subsea Engineer (Victoria, Canada)
  • Vessel: Cable layer
  • Location: Joining in Victoria, Canada
  • Start Date: 25th May 2026
  • Duration: 8 Weeks
  • Day Rate: £550 per day (Negotiable based on experience)
  • Requirements:
    • Valid C1/D Visa (Essential)
    • Full STCW Certification
    • Valid ENG1 Medical
    • Full COVID-19 Vaccination status
Role 2: Subsea Engineer (Portland, UK)
  • Vessel: Cable layer
  • Location: Joining in Portland, UK
  • Start Date: 23rd May 2026
  • Duration: 8 Weeks
  • Day Rate: £550 per day (Negotiable based on experience)
  • Requirements:
    • Full STCW Certification
    • Valid ENG1 Medical
    • Full COVID-19 Vaccination status
