Working on a 2 weeks on 1 week off rotation, you will be responsible for supporting with the maintenance and repair of a large fleet of 50+ Workboats across Europe and the UK, carrying out a varied range of works from removing and installing engines, working on, inspecting and repairing engines and gearboxes, hydraulic systems, navigation and radio equipment, as well as heating systems amongst various other areas.
The ideal candidate for this role will have: -
- Marine / Mechanical Engineering experience / qualifications / degree
- Mechanical and general Engineering experience from other areas can be considered, if a suitable candidate is interested in joining the marine sector
- Knowledge of MTU or Volvo Engines
- Experience with hydraulic systems, navigation and radio equipment and heating systems highly desirable
- Hold a valid driving license
- Fluent English speaking and written ability
- Willing to be flexible and work away from home
