We’re recruiting for an experienced Ship Manager to join an international maritime company in Copenhagen. This is a fantastic shore-based opportunity for a Chief Engineer, Technical Superintendent, or similar profile looking to take the next step in their career.

You’ll be responsible for the safe and efficient operation of 4–5 gas carrier vessels, with a strong focus on LPG / ethylene operations, budget control, maintenance planning, dry docking, compliance, and vessel performance. This role also involves regular vessel visits, close coordination with internal teams, and ensuring vessels remain fully prepared for PSC, vetting, class and oil major requirements. 

What you’ll be doing?
  • Safely operating vessels in line with IMS, statutory, class and regulatory requirements.
  • Controlling vessel expenditure and supporting budget preparation and cost control.
  • Monitoring PMS, managing repairs, and responding quickly to machinery failures.
  • Overseeing inspections, dry dock preparation, dry-dock execution and follow-up reports.
  • Managing spares, stores, equipment, certificates, insurance claims and stakeholder coordination.
What we’re looking for?
  • Chief Engineer CoC or a relevant engineering degree.
  • Experience with gas carriers: LPG / Ethylene experience desired.
  • Strong technical knowledge of shipboard operations and maintenance.
  • Good budgeting, planning, communication and leadership skills.
  • Confident working in a fast-paced, dynamic shipping environment.
