We are working with a well-established international shipbroking business that is looking to strengthen its Offshore team with the addition of an Offshore Broker based in Hamburg.
This opportunity would suit individuals with experience in offshore shipping, chartering, broking, commercial operations, or a related sector who are looking to develop their career within a dynamic and entrepreneurial environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain relationships with vessel owners, charterers, and offshore industry stakeholders.
- Identify and pursue new business opportunities within the offshore market.
- Negotiate fixtures and support commercial transactions from enquiry through to conclusion.
- Monitor market activity and provide insights to clients and colleagues.
- Work closely with internal teams to support the continued growth of the offshore desk.
- Maintain a high level of market intelligence and industry awareness.
- Experience within offshore shipping, shipbroking, vessel chartering, commercial operations, or a related maritime sector.
- Strong commercial awareness and relationship-building skills.
- Motivated, proactive, and driven to develop business opportunities.
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills.
- Fluent English required; additional languages would be advantageous.
