Key Responsibilities
- Carry out troubleshooting, repair and maintenance of marine electrical automation and control systems onboard vessels and at shipyards.
- Attend vessels for service jobs, inspections, testing, and system diagnostics.
- Support installation activities for navigation, steering control, and automation systems.
- Provide technical support and recommendations to shipowners, ship managers, and shipyards.
- Prepare detailed service reports and documentation following site attendance.
- Coordinate with internal teams and overseas principals to ensure timely resolution of technical issues.
- Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures during all service activities.
- Support emergency service attendances and occasional overseas assignments when required.
- Diploma or Degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering or a related discipline.
- Experience in marine electrical systems, automation or control systems preferred.
- Strong understanding of engineering principles and electrical systems, troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills with a customer-oriented mindset.
