We are seeking an exceptional Senior Vice President - Operations to lead a geographically diverse region, overseeing a large, globally distributed workforce. The Opportunity
As Senior Vice President - Operations, you will take full ownership of operational strategy and execution across your assigned region. You will lead through others, empowering regional leaders, strengthening organizational capability, and embedding a high-performance, safety-first culture.
You will play a pivotal role in aligning global strategy with regional execution, ensuring operational excellence while fostering innovation, collaboration, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead a Global Workforce: Inspire, develop, and align a large, geographically dispersed organization, building a strong, inclusive, and high-performing culture
- Drive Cultural Transformation: Champion initiatives that enhance leadership capability, employee engagement, and organizational effectiveness
- Own Operational Performance: Deliver against key business metrics including service delivery, productivity, financial performance, and quality outcomes
- Strategic Leadership: Define and execute regional operational strategies aligned with broader enterprise goals
- P&L Accountability: Manage full financial performance, including budgeting, forecasting, and resource optimization
- Safety & Quality Leadership: Embed a culture of safety and operational discipline, ensuring best-in-class standards across all activities
- Talent & Succession: Build leadership bench strength through robust talent development, succession planning, and capability building
- Stakeholder Engagement: Act as a senior ambassador to clients, partners, and industry stakeholders, strengthening relationships and identifying growth opportunities
- Continuous Improvement: Lead transformation and efficiency initiatives that enhance operational effectiveness and scalability
- A proven executive leader with extensive experience managing large, international operations
- Demonstrated success in leading cultural change and driving engagement across diverse teams
- Strong people leadership and coaching capability, with a track record of building high-performing leadership teams
- Commercially astute, with experience managing P&L, budgets, and performance metrics at scale
- Skilled in navigating complex, matrixed organizations and influencing across functions
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills, with executive presence
- Analytical and strategic thinker with the ability to translate vision into execution
- Experience in technically complex, regulated, or asset-intensive industries is advantageous
- Significant senior leadership experience in global maritime operations or a related environment
- Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline required; postgraduate or MBA qualifications are advantageous
This is a dynamic, global leadership role involving collaboration across international teams and regular travel. You will engage with both corporate and operational environments, including client-facing and on-site work settings.
