Faststream are working with a long established Ship Owning business to find a their next Vessel Operator to join the team. You will be joining a small but busy team based in Amsterdam.
Our client is looking for an experienced Vessel Operator who is ready to on take on more responsibility as a senior operator. Candidates should ideally have experience working with Bulker Day to day duties will include but not limited to the following:
- Responsibility for daily operations management of assigned vessels including vessels on time charter and voyage/spot charter as required.
- Performance monitoring of voyages, including loading and discharging to ensure cost effectiveness.
- Ensuring compliance with Charter parties, including preparation of voyage instructions, stowage plans and effective cleaning of holds as required through coordination with masters and ship managers.
- Handling claims and disputes as required
- Calculation and preparation of invoices for freight, hire, demurrage etc
- Maintaining and monitoring of vessel schedules.
