Job Description

We are partnering with a global leader in coatings solutions to hire a Senior Sales Executive (Protective Coatings) based in Johor. This role will focus on driving growth across the yard, fabricator, applicator, energy, petrochemical, and infrastructure markets.

The successful candidate will manage key accounts, secure new business, and ensure coating solutions are specified in major projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Execute sales strategies to achieve budgeted targets, improve margins, and grow market share.
  • Develop strong relationships with customers, contractors, consultants, fabricators, applicators, and project stakeholders.
  • Promote coating solutions to owners and consultants to secure product specifications in targeted projects.
  • Monitor project progress on-site and coordinate technical support to ensure timely, quality completion.
  • Prepare proposals, presentations, and account plans to win new contracts and expand existing business.
  • Track collections and ensure customer payments are received within agreed credit terms.
Requirements
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field.
  • Minimum 3 years’ relevant sales experience in energy, infrastructure, petrochemical, protective coatings, construction materials, or related technical B2B markets.
  • Experience dealing with yard customers, fabricators, applicators, contractors, consultants, M&E consultants, or structural engineers will be advantageous.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office.
  • Fluent in spoken and written English.
  • Able to travel across Johor, with occasional travel for meetings and training.
