The role of Senior Maritime Instructor will be a critical addition to the growing team at Clyde Training Solutions, the candidate will drive business, training content and delivery in a high-level consultative environment, offering maritime training and simulation courses.
Responsibilities:
- Design and deliver training and development solutions
- Serve as a subject matter expert for the development of training materials
- Delivery of simulation and non-simulation courses
- Monitor course delivery, progress and quality of services
- Review and update existing CTS training portfolio
- Work collaboratively to support new business generation and value add services to existing clients
- Provide key analytics on training deliverables
- Quarterly budget preparation, key focus on new courses
- Mentoring other instructors within the business
- Work in compliance with and participate in the review/audit of company Quality Management Systems as well as the Safety Management System (SMS)
- Assist in recruitment
- Meet targets, KPIs and SLAs
- Contribute to the strategy for maritime training
- Maintain a strong knowledge of simulation systems, capabilities to effectively offer solutions to client demands
Requirements:
- Experience sailing on Gas, Chemical or Oil Tanker - Class 1 COC sailing experience preferred (within the last 5 years)
- A clear Subject Matter Expert, with exceptional leadership skills- Ideally Master
- Glasgow based - relocation support provided
