Location: Singapore
Key Responsibilities:
- Monitor daily LNG trading activities and assess market, credit, operational, and counterparty risk exposures across physical and paper portfolios
- Review profit and loss positions, exposure reports, and risk metrics to ensure accuracy and timely identification of potential risks
- Conduct due diligence and risk assessments on counterparties, customers, and new business opportunities
- Support transaction reviews and ensure compliance with internal risk policies, procedures, and control frameworks
- Investigate unusual trading activities, exposure movements, and valuation discrepancies, escalating findings where necessary
- Validate transaction records and pricing inputs within risk management systems, ensuring accurate reporting and valuation of positions
- Collaborate with trading, finance, legal, and operations teams to strengthen risk controls and enhance risk awareness across the business
- Assist with derivatives-related settlements, funding requirements, and reconciliation activities in partnership with finance teams
- Prepare regular risk reports for management, highlighting key exposures, emerging trends, and recommendations for mitigation measures
Requirements:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Approximately 3 to 5 years of experience within LNG, energy trading, or commodity trading
- Experience reviewing trading exposures, P&L reporting, valuations, and risk controls within a trading environment
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and dynamic commercial environment
