Key Responsibilities:
- Perform maintenance, repair, machining, and welding on engine room equipment
- Support work on main propulsion and auxiliary machinery
- Take ownership of the engine workshop, ensuring safe and efficient operations
- Manage tools, materials, and assist with maintenance planning
- Supervise and support Fitters and junior crew
- Previous experience as a Fitter/Senior Fitter at sea
- Strong mechanical, machining, and welding skills
- Experience with engine room machinery
- STCW certification and valid seafarer medical
- Professional approach with ability to work in a team
- Competitive salary of $3100 per month plus the equivalent for leave pay.
- Rotation of 3 months on and 1 month off
