Senior Chartering Manager – Dry Bulk (Panamax) | Singapore
Faststream is partnering with a dry bulk operator to recruit a Senior Chartering Manager for its Singapore office (Pacific region).
This is a hands-on commercial position for an experienced dry bulk charterer with strong Panamax market knowledge, an established industry network and the ability to identify and convert profitable opportunities.
Key responsibilities will include:
• Managing chartering activities across the Panamax segment
• Identifying suitable cargo and tonnage opportunities
• Negotiating and concluding commercially attractive fixtures
• Developing relationships with charterers, shipowners and brokers
• Monitoring freight markets and providing timely commercial insights
• Working closely with operations and other internal stakeholders throughout the fixture lifecycle
• Supporting the continued development of the company’s dry bulk business
We would be keen to speak with candidates who offer:
• A proven track record in dry bulk chartering, ideally with an owner, operator or trading platform
• Strong knowledge of the Panamax market
• An established network across the dry bulk sector
• Sound commercial judgement and negotiation skills
• The ability to operate independently in a fast-moving environment
• Strong communication and relationship-management capabilities
