Faststream Recruitment has partnered with a leading multinational company in the Hull cleaning & Inspections space to identify a ROV Engineer for their Singapore operations.
The location is remote, job site will be at the Shipyard at Pandan, with a definite 5 day work week, with rotational shifts.
You will be responsible for preparation/testing of ROV systems, conducting workshop activities, maintaining & keeping of all equipment records, ability to undertake risk assessments & deliver resultant "Toolbox" briefings, providing essential support during emergency situations, responsible for checking, fault finding & commissioning of systems, working hand in hand with Technical Manager & supporting R&D team in design discussions.
The ideal candidate would be someone who has a diploma/degree in any engineering discipline with a background of Marine/Maritime/Electrical/Automation/Mechanical, with the ability to understand electrical drawings.
Candidates with prior experience with ROVs would be held in high regard.
