We are engaged by a growing shipping conglomerate to hire a competent Purchasing Manager for their ship management office in Singapore. This is an excellent opportunity to join a company who is seeing business growth in the recent years and is in the midst of further expanding their fleet.

To be considered, you need to have circa 3 years of proven supervisory or managerial experience leading the purchasing function for a ship owning or ship management company. 

You are supported by a seasoned team of purchasers who will assist you in running the day to day purchasing operations for the fleet of vessels. You will provide guidance to the team and monitor the team's performance. Assessing vendors quality and performance, expanding vendor list and negotiation for new contracts. Monitoring the market for price movements for spares, supplies and services. Develop purchase forecast and expenditure report. Provide relevant support to company's ongoing digital transformation efforts.
