Faststream has an interesting and challenging Project Manager position for a global logistics company who is strong in handling project freight forwarding.  Our clients are experiencing significant growth in the APAC region.

The accountability for the Project Manager role are as follows: -
  • Strong understanding of arranging shipments by sea, air and road 
  • Good knowledge of shipments for Projects cargos / shipments
  • Ability to negotiate ad-hoc quotations from company's approved carriers, suppliers and subcontractors
  • Provide day-to-day guidance to the team for all aspects of their work and company expectations
  • Monitoring overall performance of the team and identifying and implementing changes to achieve objectives
To be successful in this position you will need to have the following: -
  • Minimum 8 years operational experience in international logistics industry
  • Experience in sea, land and air mode of transportation
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proven man management and leadership skills
  • Proven track record for having handled shipment for oil & gas industry
This position will suit someone who is mature to manage a team of individuals and mentor and develop younger team members.
