Job Description

A growing marine services company is seeking a Procurement Manager to lead its provisions business in Singapore. This role will take ownership of procurement strategy, supplier management, and commercial performance, driving profitability and operational excellence across both local and international markets.
Key Responsibilities
  • Drive the Provision Profit Centre’s sales, margin, and EBIT targets for the Singapore office
  • Develop and execute procurement strategies for both local and international sourcing
  • Manage and standardise global provisioning data and pricing structures
  • Analyse global market trends and establish competitive pricing strategies across key products
  • Oversee supplier sourcing, negotiation, and performance management
  • Conduct ongoing supplier due diligence to ensure compliance and quality standards
  • Optimise supplier base, negotiate contracts, and secure cost efficiencies and discounts
  • Manage ERP-related activities including supplier setup, pricing lists, and data accuracy
  • Collaborate cross-functionally to improve processes and operational efficiency
  • Lead, mentor, and motivate the team to achieve high performance and strong collaboration
Requirements
  • 7–10 years of procurement experience, ideally within marine, offshore, FMCG, or international trading environments
  • Strong background in provisions sourcing (frozen, fresh, dry goods)
  • Proven experience in global sourcing, supplier negotiation, and procurement strategy
  • Strong commercial acumen with understanding of pricing and market dynamics
  • Established supplier network and relationships
  • Excellent leadership, stakeholder management, and planning skills
  • Strong analytical skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems
  • Independent, proactive, and able to thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong communication skills; bilingual ability is advantageous
