Port & Liner Operations Manager

Join an established marine logistics business and take the lead across port operations, liner network performance and container equipment management.
This is a hands-on operational leadership role with a strong focus on port performance. You’ll oversee port calls, cargo operations and turnaround times, working closely with agents, terminals, port authorities and service providers to keep operations safe, efficient and on schedule.
You’ll also support the wider liner network through vessel scheduling, service reliability and operational planning, while overseeing container equipment availability, positioning and utilisation across the network.
Key Requirements
- Strong management experience in port operations, including port calls, cargo operations, turnaround performance and stakeholder coordination.
- Good understanding of liner or network operations, including vessel scheduling, service reliability and cargo flows.
- Practical experience with container equipment management, including inventory, positioning and utilisation.
- Proven experience managing operational performance, costs, KPIs and process improvement.
- Strong people leadership skills within a complex marine or logistics environment.
