Marine Surveyor | Japan (Northern Japan Preferred)

Join a globally recognised organisation at the forefront of maritime safety, compliance, and technical assurance. Based in Northern Japan, you will play a key role in ensuring vessels, marine assets, and related systems meet international regulations and classification standards, helping to uphold the highest levels of safety, quality, and operational integrity across the industry.

This position offers the opportunity to work closely with shipowners, shipyards, manufacturers, and operators, conducting surveys, inspections, audits, and certification activities throughout a vessel's lifecycle. You will provide technical expertise, assess compliance with industry requirements, support clients in addressing complex technical challenges, and contribute to the safe and efficient operation of marine assets. The role involves regular interaction with key maritime stakeholders and exposure to the latest developments in shipbuilding, marine technology, and regulatory standards.

Strong technical knowledge of ship systems and machinery, the ability to interpret engineering drawings and regulations, and fluency in both Japanese and English will be highly valued.
