Full Job Description:
Northern Marine Management Services (NMMS) is seeking a Marine Resources Team Lead (Offshore) to join its offshore recruitment team. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced recruitment or crewing professional to play a key role in supporting offshore recruitment operations while leading a small team and delivering excellent service to both internal and external stakeholders.

Overview:
As Marine Resources Team Lead (Offshore), you will be responsible for delivering high-quality, customer-focused recruitment services across the offshore division. Working closely with internal departments, clients, and external providers, you will ensure recruitment requirements are met efficiently while maintaining compliance with company procedures and industry standards.

You will oversee offshore recruitment activities, support workforce planning and forecasting, supervise a small recruitment team, and continuously improve recruitment processes to support business growth and client satisfaction.
This position offers the opportunity to combine hands-on recruitment expertise with team leadership responsibilities in a fast-paced offshore environment.
  
  
Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders and external providers.
  • Supervise the offshore recruitment team and manage day-to-day recruitment activities.
  • Oversee the administration of the recruitment process and ensure efficient delivery of recruitment services.
  • Undertake candidate shortlisting, selection, interviewing, and feedback management.
  • Support recruitment forecasting activities to ensure future staffing requirements are met.
  • Manage recruitment advertising across appropriate channels.
  • Identify and develop cost-effective recruitment sourcing strategies.
  • Work closely with Crewing teams and Recruitment Managers to understand staffing requirements across the fleet.
  • Liaise directly with clients to understand recruitment, certification, and crewing requirements.
  • Ensure client-specific protocols and procedures are consistently followed.
  • Act as an escalation point for recruitment-related matters.
  • Continuously review and improve recruitment processes and procedures.
  • Support salary benchmarking, annual reviews, and recruitment budget management.
  • Provide holiday cover for the Offshore Crew Manager when required.
  
Required Skills & Experience:
  • Previous recruitment, crewing, or relevant offshore industry experience.
  • Experience managing or supervising a team.
  • Good understanding of offshore industry certification requirements, including MLC, STCW, HSE, OPITO, and GWO.
  • Strong knowledge of recruitment processes, sourcing methods, and candidate management.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, including Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to prioritise workload and manage multiple recruitment projects simultaneously.
  • Proactive approach to problem-solving and process improvement.
  • Experience within the offshore catering sector would be advantageous.
