Working closely with ship owners, operators and other maritime stakeholders worldwide, the business helps improve safety, operational performance and risk management across the maritime sector.
As part of its continued growth, the business is seeking a Marine Quality Manager to play a key role in strengthening marine quality, governance and assurance across a range of operational assessment and review activities. This is a unique opportunity to influence the consistency, accuracy and integrity of critical operational processes while collaborating with technical, operational and cross-functional teams.
Key Requirements
- Significant experience within vessel operations, marine assurance, safety management or maritime governance.
- Strong knowledge of Port State Control (PSC), SIRE, RISQ, vetting processes, incident investigation and vessel inspections.
- Experience conducting or supporting marine audits, inspections or quality assurance activities.
- Excellent analytical skills with the ability to identify trends, identify inconsistencies and drive continuous improvement.
- Confident communicating technical findings and collaborating with a range of internal and external stakeholders.
- A structured, evidence-based approach with exceptional attention to detail and a genuine passion for improving quality and governance.
- Experience gained within a ship owner, ship manager, classification society, marine consultancy or similar maritime organisation would be highly desirable.
- The existing right to live and work to live in the UK is essential for this position.
