Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical and operational advice to shipowner members and internal teams
- Advise on vessel condition surveys and operational risks
- Support Claims and Underwriting teams with technical expertise
- Lead loss prevention projects and deliver training and presentations
- Build strong relationships with members and maritime stakeholders
- Produce safety articles, guidance and presentations
- Travel regionally as required
- COC 1 holder with senior deck or engine experience
- Relevant shore-based experience in ship management or marine surveying
- Strong knowledge of vessel operations, safety and risk management
- Confident public speaker with strong stakeholder skills
- Willing to travel and able to work autonomously
- IT literate, with good MS Office 365 skills
- Title and seniority will be aligned with the successful candidate's experience.
