Faststream Recruitment are working with an exciting and growing Shipping and Terminal operations business within the LNG marketplace operating in niche small scale energy markets when access to natural gas is limited.Our client is looking for an experienced individual to take on the important role as their new Head of Terminals and Projects.
The successful candidate is likely to come from a process/chemical or project management background and have significant experience in the development of LNG projects in the past. You will be expected to take projects through the full phase of concept, design, construction and finally commissioning. Key responsibilities include:
- Ownership of all planning and delivery of future onshore LNG receiving terminal projects
- Project concept design and development together with any permitting requirements for new projects
- Conducting risk assessments, cost estimations and benchmarking against other assets
- Lead in the procurement of all major equipment and service contractors
- Liaising with the Head of Fleet Operations to ensure that projects are fit for purpose
This is an truly exciting opportunity to join a young but growing business with a global approach to their business strategy. The role is anticipated to include international travel around 25- 40% of the time, with the rest of the time either working from their London headquarters or occasional remote working if required.
