Faststream are recruiting for a Global Claims Manager for a market leader in international shipping.
The Global Claims Manager will be directly responsible for the negotiation and settlement of complex claims along with managing the overall claims process for the company’s shipping and other businesses such as terminals & tank containers.
The role will manage a small team and will be responsible for the development, implementation and administration of the Company’s overall claims management strategy.
Working closely with the Global Risk Manager and senior leaders, this role will act as an advisor for all insurance-related activities including annual renewals, broker/insurer relationships, project risk assessments, loss prevention, contract review, captive insurance company administration and other duties as required.
For this role you will require a degree in Engineering or Finance/Business.
Extensive experience managing complex claims and claims adjusting.
Operational or Claims experience in the Maritime/Shipping industry or related industries e.g. oil and gas where large global assets are included in the portfolio. Tanker shipping experience is an advantage.
