We are looking for a skilled marine professional to provide technical expertise and manage fleet upgrade projects, ensuring compliance, performance, and innovation across our vessels.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide technical expertise across assigned areas.
- Manage and deliver fleet upgrade projects.
- Support asset management, contracts, and ship manager relationships.
- Ensure effective installation and operation of new technologies, including training.
- Evaluate new technologies and support regulatory compliance.
- Lead technical initiatives (e.g. dry dockings, budgets, fleet standards, LIFEX).
- Manage fleet-wide contracts and support safety and incident investigations.
- Act as a mentor and promote a strong safety culture.
- Marine Engineering / Naval Architecture background (or equivalent experience).
- Strong knowledge of marine engines and systems.
- Proven project management and technical upgrade experience.
- Shore-based superintendent experience preferred.
- Strong communication, teamwork, and adaptability.
- Full clean driving licence.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, GDPR, and maritime regulations.
- Maintain safe and compliant vessel operations.
