Fleet Manager
Port Moresby, Papua New Guinea
Join an established marine services organisation and take ownership of a diverse fleet supporting operations across Papua New Guinea.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing Vessel Management, Crewing and Compliance. You'll work closely with vessel teams and shore personnel to keep the fleet safe, reliable and operationally ready across landing craft, tugs, barges and survey vessels.
A key part of the role will be to implement, strengthen and monitor Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) across the fleet, improving maintenance planning, vessel reliability and consistency of technical records.
This is an on-site position based in Port Moresby, with no FIFO or rotational arrangement.
Key Requirements
- Chief Engineer with proven team leadership or managerial experience.
- Strong understanding of vessel management, crewing and marine compliance.
- Proven experience implementing and monitoring Planned Maintenance Systems (PMS) across a fleet.
- Experience with landing craft, tugs, barges, survey vessels or similar commercial fleets will be highly regarded.
