Join an established marine services organisation and take ownership of a diverse fleet supporting operations across Papua New Guinea.
This is a hands-on leadership role overseeing three core functions — Vessel Management, Crewing and Compliance. You’ll work closely with vessel teams and shore personnel to ensure safe, reliable and efficient operations across a fleet of landing craft, tugs, barges and survey vessels. A key part of the role will be strengthening technical standards through the implementation and ongoing monitoring of the Planned Maintenance System.
This is an on-site position based in Port Moresby, with no FIFO or rotational arrangement.
Key Requirements
- Practical leader who enjoys being close to the operation and leading from the front. Former Chief Engineers will be highly regarded.
- Strong understanding of vessel management, crewing and marine compliance.
- Proven experience implementing, monitoring and improving Planned Maintenance Systems.
- Experience with landing craft, tugs, barges, survey vessels or similar commercial fleets will be highly regarded.
