I am currently working with a leading Ocean Cruise company and have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Chief Purser, Food & Beverage Manager or similar position, within a 5 Star hospitality environment, and experience with ship operations.

The Financial Officer is responsible for overseeing & controlling the ship's entire financial operation including revenue & cost management and guest & crew administration, in line with the cruise lines extremely high standards. You are required to implement, manage and maintain all service standards to uphold the company's 6* Ocean Cruise reputation, and it is your duty to manage departmental performance within set budgets and targets, and to provide your team with ongoing training and support.
It is your responsibility to create a friendly, guest-oriented service culture to ensure guest satisfaction and repeat business, which in turn, will increase revenue and profitability of the company.

The ideal candidate will have:
-Previous cruise experience as a Food & Beverage Manager, Chief Purser or similar position
-Experience in 5* (or higher) Hotels (Luxury cruise experience would be an advantage)
-Developed leadership skills and experience in leading multi-cultural teams; with the appropriate HR training, craft training or equivalent.
-Exposure to financial analysis and budgeting; strong administration skills are preferred
-Computer literacy and must be proficient with PC based databases, spread sheets, and word processing systems.
-English language skills (additional language are a benefit, but not necessary)
