We’re working with an international shipping and logistics company looking for a Finance Supervisor to join their Netherlands team. This role focuses on supporting the oversight of accounting operations, ensuring compliance, and contributing to financial reporting and process improvements. It’s a great opportunity for someone with strong accounting experience who enjoys combining hands-on work with team support and regional exposure.

Key Responsibilities
  • Support the supervision and development of the NL & BE Accounting team.
  • Ensure compliance with internal and external processes, including legal, tax, HR, and reporting requirements.
  • Help drive team performance and maintain a full back-up structure within a small team.
  • Maintain a strong understanding of all accounting tasks to ensure operational continuity.
  • Act as a key contact for accounting matters, supporting the Country Manager and Regional Finance teams.
  • Assist with financial reporting, controls, and continuous process improvements.
Skills & Experience
  • Certified accountant (Finance/Accounting/Reporting/Taxes).
  • Proven experience in accounting or finance roles.
  • Strong analytical and communication skills.
  • Solid accounting knowledge with proficiency in MS Office and SAP.
  • Experience in the shipping industry is preferred.
  • Fluent in Dutch and English (mandatory).
  • Willingness to support regional and global finance projects.
