We are exclusively partnering with a highly respected and well-established UK ship owner who is seeking to appoint an experienced Technical Superintendent to join their expanding technical team.
This is a remote-based position within the UK, offering flexibility alongside regular travel to vessel and operational sites as required. The role provides a unique opportunity to work closely with a reputable maritime organisation that has a long-standing presence in the industry and a strong commitment to operational excellence, safety, and technical performance across its fleet.
In this position, you will play a key role in supporting and enhancing engineering standards across multiple vessels, working collaboratively with both shore-side and onboard teams to ensure optimal performance, compliance, and reliability.
Key responsibilities will include:
- Overseeing and supporting vessel engineering operations from shore-side
- Ensuring compliance with regulatory and company standards across the fleet
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to onboard engineering teams
- Driving continuous improvement in maintenance strategies, reliability, and efficiency
- Liaising with internal stakeholders and external partners to support operational delivery
- Proven experience in shore-side maritime engineering
- Strong technical background within marine engineering, ship operations, or vessel management
- Previous experience in an engineering leadership or management role is highly desirable
- Strong understanding of vessel maintenance, compliance, and operational best practice
- Must have the right to live and work in the UK
