The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices, as well as experience in the design, development, and commissioning of electrical systems for oil and gas facilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks, including:
- Designing, developing, and commissioning electrical systems for oil and gas facilities
- Conducting feasibility studies and preparing project proposals
- Interacting with clients to understand their needs and requirements
- Liasing with other engineers and disciplines to ensure that electrical systems are integrated with the overall project
- Preparing and managing project budgets and schedules
- Ensuring that electrical systems meet all applicable codes and standards
- Staying up-to-date on the latest electrical engineering technologies for the oil and gas industry
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering
- Strong understanding of electrical engineering principles and practices
- Experience with a variety of electrical engineering software
