- Making and executing crew planning
- Drafting employment contracts
- Managing absenteeism
- Supporting in recruiting seafaring colleagues
- Maintaining contacts with crew members
- Communicating with crewing agents
- Keeping track of laws and regulations related to maritime crew legislation and HRM areas
- Supporting payroll administration
