Location: Aberdeen, Westhill
Reporting to: Crewing Team
Overview:
We are seeking a highly organised and motivated Crewing Assistant to support the crewing function within Northern Marine Group. This is an excellent opportunity for someone looking to develop a career within the maritime sector, working closely with internal teams and offshore personnel to ensure smooth and efficient crewing operations.
Required skill set and experience:
Minimum of 2 Highers (or equivalent)
Previous experience in a customer service or office-based environment
An understanding of the offshore or maritime sector, with a strong willingness to learn and develop
Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
Excellent communication skills, with the ability to adapt style to different audiences
Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
Strong problem-solving skills
Confident in building relationships and working with a range of stakeholders
Desirable:
Basic understanding of marine regulatory frameworks such as ISM Code, STCW, and MLC 2006
