Responsibilities:
- Oversee the overall business operations, including P&L management, strategic planning, sales, marketing, and business development to achieve organizational objectives.
- Take full ownership of the country's financial performance, ensuring delivery of budgeted profitability targets.
- Lead the business with strong governance, ensuring compliance with local regulations, corporate policies, and industry standards.
- Drive commercial growth by identifying, developing, and expanding opportunities across port agency, liner agency, and other maritime-related services.
- Ensure operational excellence and consistently high service standards for customers.
- Promote and enforce workplace health, safety, and compliance initiatives.
- Lead local sales and commercial activities, converting opportunities into sustainable business growth.
- Foster a collaborative, high-performing culture through effective leadership, employee engagement, and talent development.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including customers, government authorities, terminals, warehouses, shipping agents, and service providers.
- Collaborate closely with regional leadership teams across finance, commercial, and operations to align local business strategies with regional objectives.
- Recruit, develop, mentor, and retain talent while ensuring succession planning for critical roles.
- A proven track record of successfully managing P&L over a longer period of time in various management positions in the shipping agency industry
- A team-leader with proven experience, network, knowledge of the relevant industry in Indonesia, able to show successful management of a multi-functional team
- Strong business acumen and experience of operational management and development
- Entrepreneurial and trustworthy, proactive and self-motivated
- An open-minded and co-working type of leader
- A confident communicator with solid skills of execution
- Able to work under pressure and willing to travel
