Faststream is currently recruiting for a Contract Manager to join a global shipping company as their main point of contact for legal and contract queries. This can be based in either London or Hong Kong.
This role will require someone who ideally comes from a chartering or operations background in shipping, they could also consider someone from a legal background in the shipping industry as well. You will need to be well versed with contracts and charter parties, as well as having to right and amend these documents. You will need to have a strong awareness of the market, deal with disputes and any local changes in regulations. You will report in to the global Head of Contracts, however you will be the sole point of contact in the office for adhoc queries.
You will be joining a reputable global ship owner and operator within the dry bulk shipping sector, however you can have experience across contracts covering other vessel types.
