We are looking for a Chartering Manager – Chemical Tankers to lead chartering strategy, drive business growth, and enhance overall fleet performance in a competitive global market.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and drive chartering strategies for the chemical tanker fleet to maximize utilization and profitability
  • Identify and secure business opportunities, including spot fixtures and contracts of affreightment (COAs)
  • Oversee voyage planning with a focus on cargo compatibility, safety, and regulatory compliance
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with charterers, brokers, and key industry stakeholders
  • Negotiate complex charter parties, contracts, and long-term agreements
  • Monitor market trends, freight rates, and competitor activity to inform commercial decisions
  • Supervise post-fixture operations, including performance tracking, claims management, and dispute resolution
  • Collaborate with technical, operations, and HSSE teams to ensure smooth and compliant voyage execution
  • Mentor and guide junior chartering team members, fostering a high-performance culture
  
Requirements:
  • Degree in Shipping, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field
  • Minimum 8–10 years of relevant chartering experience, with a strong focus on chemical or product tankers
  • Proven leadership experience in managing teams or leading commercial activities
  • In-depth knowledge of tanker markets, charter party agreements, and freight dynamics
  • Excellent negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
  • Established network within the tanker chartering and brokerage community is highly advantageous
