Location: Singapore
Key Responsibilities:
- Support the execution of oil tanker fixtures, ensuring smooth coordination from negotiation through to voyage completion
- Track vessel positions, market movements, and performance to support timely commercial decisions
- Coordinate closely with brokers, charterers, terminals, and service providers to ensure efficient cargo operations
- Assist in negotiating charter parties and commercial terms in line with company strategy
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of contracts, correspondence, and voyage documentation
- Monitor voyage performance and highlight any operational, contractual, or claims-related issues
- Provide regular updates on market conditions and voyage status to internal stakeholders
- Work closely with ship and operations teams to ensure safe, compliant, and efficient voyage execution
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Shipping, Maritime Studies, Logistics, or a related discipline
- Minimum 1 year of experience in chartering or tanker commercial operations (oil or product tankers preferred)
- Good understanding of tanker freight markets and charter party fundamentals
- Exposure to post-fixture operations, voyage execution, or claims handling is an advantage
- Strong analytical skills with attention to detail and commercial awareness
- Confident communicator with the ability to coordinate across multiple stakeholders
- Able to perform in a fast-paced and time-sensitive environment
