Location: Singapore
Key Responsibilities:
- Identify commercial opportunities and assess vessel deployment for optimal efficiency
- Maintain organized records of charter agreements, negotiations, and operational communications
- Monitor vessel performance and address operational or contractual challenges promptly
- Liaise with service providers and partners to coordinate smooth loading, unloading, and transit operations
- Negotiate charter terms, service agreements, and contracts
- Prepare and share operational and market updates with management and stakeholders
- Guide ship teams on voyage planning and execution activities
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree in Shipping, Logistics, Maritime Studies, or a related field
- At least 4 years’ experience in chartering
- Strong negotiation skills and commercial awareness in shipping operations
- Experience managing contracts, disputes, or operational claims is advantageous
- Excellent communication skills with internal teams and external partners
