Faststream has partnered with a dynamic, international organisation in the search for a Business Development Manager to join their team in Tokyo. 

Our clients are market leaders in the maritime industry and specialise in providing data, business intelligence and insights to their clients, to help them make informed and effective business decisions. They have excellent brand equity in the market and are expanding their team in Japan. 

They are looking to attract and engage and experienced Business Development Manager to help drive their business forward and take their reach to the next level. 

This is a 'hunter' role, meaning they are looking for someone to develop a robust sales strategy to enable them to identify and engage new clients, to ensure the expansion of the business in this region. 

Due to the niche nature of the industry, the ideal candidate will have sales experience in the maritime industry and have strong network of clients. 

Those with experience selling business intelligence products on a subscription basis, within the maritime industry, will be held in high regard.
