Business Development & Commercial Manager

We are exclusively partnering with a well-established and highly regarded maritime organisation based in Liverpool to recruit a Business Development & Commercial Manager.
This is a key commercial role focused on driving growth and developing new business opportunities, with a particular emphasis on the tug and towage sector. You will play a central role in shaping commercial strategy while building and maintaining strong relationships across the maritime and port community.

The Role:
  • Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the tug and towage market
  • Build and manage strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
  • Support the development and execution of commercial strategy
  • Monitor market trends and identify areas for growth
  • Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals and contracts
  • Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations
What We’re Looking For:
  • Proven experience in business development and commercial roles
  • Strong background within the maritime or port sector (tug/towage experience highly desirable)
  • Demonstrated success in winning and developing new business
  • Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
