We are exclusively partnering with a well-established and highly regarded maritime organisation based in Liverpool to recruit a Business Development & Commercial Manager.
This is a key commercial role focused on driving growth and developing new business opportunities, with a particular emphasis on the tug and towage sector. You will play a central role in shaping commercial strategy while building and maintaining strong relationships across the maritime and port community.
The Role:
- Identify, develop, and secure new business opportunities within the tug and towage market
- Build and manage strong relationships with clients, partners, and key stakeholders
- Support the development and execution of commercial strategy
- Monitor market trends and identify areas for growth
- Prepare and negotiate commercial proposals and contracts
- Collaborate closely with operational teams to ensure service delivery aligns with client expectations
- Proven experience in business development and commercial roles
- Strong background within the maritime or port sector (tug/towage experience highly desirable)
- Demonstrated success in winning and developing new business
- Strong commercial acumen and negotiation skills
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities
- Right to live and work in the UK
