We are seeking an English qualified transactional shipping lawyer with 3–6 years PQE to join a busy and growing team advising shipowners, operators, financiers and investors on a broad range of domestic and cross border matters.

The role will involve hands on involvement in:
• Shipbuilding and newbuild contracts
• Ship sale & purchase transactions
• Ship finance, restructurings and workouts
• Bareboat charters, leasing and long-term charter arrangements
• Vessel ownership and registration structures
• Ship management and operational agreements
• Recycling and regulatory matters
You will work closely with clients and international stakeholders from day one, managing transactions and supporting complex cross border shipping matters across a range of vessel types and sectors. The ideal candidate will have strong drafting and transaction management skills, commercial awareness and experience in shipbuilding and/or ship sale & purchase work.
