As an Assistant Marine Manager, you’ll gain hands-on exposure to vessel operations, vetting, and fleet performance—working closely with experienced shore-based teams while applying your seagoing expertise.
Key Responsibilities
- Support marine and cargo operations of pressurised LPG vessels
- Monitor critical operations (cargo handling, STS, tank prep, etc.)
- Assist with vetting, PSC readiness, and SIRE/CDI inspections
- Follow up on vetting observations and corrective actions
- Support incident investigations and safety initiatives
- Ensure compliance with ISM, SMS, and regulatory requirements
- Minimum 36 months sea time on pressurised LPG carriers, including 18 months as Chief Officer
- ISM / ISO certification preferred
- Good command of English
- Open to candidates making their first move ashore
