Account Manager - APAC (Maritime/Ship Owners & Managers)
Permanent, Full-time
Location: Singapore 
 
A leading maritime safety and sustainability solutions provider is seeking an Account Manager to drive growth across its existing customer base in the APAC region. This role focuses on expanding wallet share, strengthening client relationships, and delivering enhanced safety, environmental, and social outcomes through value-driven solutions.
 
Working closely with the Head of APAC, you will manage and grow a portfolio of key accounts across the maritime ecosystem, including ship owners and managers, charterers, ports and terminals, and related service providers.
 
You will collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Client Services, to ensure a strong value proposition while identifying opportunities for upselling, cross-selling, and long-term partnerships.
Key Responsibilities Account Growth & Retention
  • Manage and develop a portfolio of existing clients across the APAC region
  • Drive revenue growth through upselling and cross-selling of products and services
  • Identify opportunities to expand customer engagement and increase account value
  • Build long-term partnerships by understanding client needs and aligning solutions accordingly
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction, retention, and loyalty
Client Engagement
  • Act as the primary point of contact for assigned accounts
  • Conduct regular business reviews and strategic discussions with clients
  • Present new solutions, product enhancements, and value propositions to existing customers
  • Gather client feedback and market insights to support continuous improvement
Commercial & Delivery Coordination
  • Lead commercial discussions, contract renewals, and pricing negotiations
  • Work closely with internal teams to ensure seamless service delivery and client onboarding for new solutions
  • Monitor account performance, pipeline, and revenue targets
Stakeholder Management
  • Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders
  • Collaborate internally with Sales, Product, and Operations to drive customer success
  • Proactively manage risks, escalations, and client expectations
Requirements
  • Proven experience in account management, client success, or relationship management
  • Strong track record in growing existing accounts and driving upsell/cross-sell revenue
  • Excellent stakeholder management and relationship-building skills
  • Commercially driven with strong negotiation and communication abilities
  • Ability to manage multiple accounts and priorities in a regional role
  • Experience in SaaS, PaaS, or technology-led solutions is advantageous
  • Strong business acumen with a customer-centric mindset
  • Fluency in English (spoken and written)
  • Interest in maritime, sustainability, and improving industry outcomes
