A growing insurance brokerage is expanding its Marine team in Dubai and is seeking an experienced Account Executive / Marine Broker to join a close knit team during a period of sustained growth.

This is a hands on role within a small, entrepreneurial office, offering direct exposure to clients, insurers and international placements. The successful candidate will play a key role in managing and developing an existing portfolio, with a clear progression path toward a Deputy Head of Marine position.

Compensation & Benefits
  • AED 27,000 – 30,000 per month (tax-free)

The Role

You will manage marine insurance accounts across the full lifecycle, including:
  • Placement of risks in London, UAE, and international markets
  • Negotiation with insurers across both local and global markets
  • Client servicing and relationship management
  • Policy documentation and administration
  • Coordination with international partners, including London and Dubai markets
The portfolio is heavily weighted toward Hull & Machinery (H&M) business (approx. 60–70%), alongside P&I, Cargo and Yacht lines.
This is not a business development focused role, the emphasis is on technical execution, servicing and account development within an existing client base.

Profile they are seeking:
  • 3–5 years’+ experience in marine insurance broking or underwriting
    (up to 7–8 years considered for the right profile)
  • Strong, hands-on experience with:Placements and renewals, Market negotiations, Policy documentation
  • Solid technical knowledge of:Hull & Machinery (essential), P&I, Cargo, Yachts (desirable)
  • Familiarity with London and/or international marine markets
  • Comfortable operating in a lean team environment with high autonomy
  • Ambitious, with the potential to step into a #2 role over time
  • Fluent English required
