Faststream is recruiting for an experienced Second Engineer to join a highly respected maritime organisation operating a modern diesel-electric vessel fleet.
This is an excellent opportunity to take on a senior leadership role, managing planned and reactive maintenance, supporting refits and dry dock projects, and working closely with the Chief Engineer to ensure safe and efficient vessel operations.
Details:
• £54,000 - £58,750 per annum
• 3 weeks on, 3 weeks off rotation
• UK operating area
• Permanent contract
Requirements:
• Second Engineer CoC (III/2) or Chief Engineer CoC (III/2 or III/3 <9000kW)
• Current ENG1 Medical
• Strong knowledge of planned maintenance systems and marine engineering operations preferred
• Experience with diesel-electric propulsion systems preferred
• Understanding of SOLAS, ISM, ISPS, STCW and MLC requirements
