Silverstream Technologies are working with Faststream exclusively to recruit driven and dynamic individuals to join their team as they embark upon an exciting new phase of growth. Silverstream are a fast-growing company at the forefront of ship efficiency technology.

With growth of the installed base during 2020, aftermarket customer support and satisfaction will be key to ensure successful growth. This will also be a key differentiator in the market against other ALS providers. To achieve this, Silverstream wishes to develop and grow of aftermarket activity for all ALS installed base.

Key Responsibilities

    * Responsible and accountable for all aftermarket activity and strategy
    * Installation & Commissioning activity using Silverstream personnel
    * Managing Installation & Commissioning activity remotely

    * Warranty management
    * In-service Customer support (concierge type service), including:

    * Call Centre/Case Management
    * Emergency Breakdown Response (Technical Support / Vessel Interventions)
    * Scheduled Maintenance
    * Remote diagnostics
    * Spare Parts
    * Upgrades

    * Management of issues with installed base including Root Cause Analysis and Corrective Action process
    * Customer training
    * In House training support
    * Supply chain aftersales ownership
    * After market forecast and budgeting

Skills, Qualifications, Experience & Characteristics:

    * Degree level engineer Mechanical/Electrical or Equivalent
    * Experienced at OEM Marine service
    * Demonstrable customer focussed approach
    * Minimum 5 years of Service management
    * Intimate knowledge f the marine market
    * Site and safety experience
    * IOSH Trained

Key indicators of success :

    * Customer satisfaction / feedback
    * Responsiveness and speedy issue resolution
    * Warranty costs controlled
    * Spares and service revenue and profit
    * Commissioning capability & capacity matching project forecast
    * Utilisation
