Our client are a world renowed ship yard, who specialise in the repair of cruise and commerical vessels. They are currently recruiting for 2 experienced Estimators to join their team due to an ever increasing workload.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES:

? A minimum of 10 years' estimating experience in the ship repair & conversion projects.
? Ability to prepare complex proposals with minimum supervision in a timely manner.
? Review proposal specifications, drawing, attend pre-bid meetings, etc. to determine scope of work and required contents of estimate.
? Ensure all working documents and data are maintained to backup estimate figures.
? Investigate and incorporate project constraints into cost analysis.
? Perform a detailed review of all documentation to develop accurate cost estimates that fully incorporate
and communicate client's project goals.
? Review of subcontractor and vendor quotations and scope of work.
? Prepare detailed scope of work for all commercial trades.
? Strong computer skills required with advanced proficiency in Microsoft Project, Access, and Excel is a must.

QUALIFICATIONS:
? Minimum of 10 years' experience in ship repair industry
? Bachelor's degree in engineering, mathematics, statistics, construction management,
? or building science or equivalent with relevant work experience would be preferred
? Good mathematics with strong analytical skills and attention to detail
? possess the relevant technical knowledge and should be comfortable using various
? computer programs
? Good communication skills
? Possess excellent time management and organization skills.
? Preparedness to travel as required.
